Ayurvedic Food
Ayurvedic food is one cuisine which can only be seen in Sri Lanka. The dishes are best made in villages as they use organic fruits and vegetables which are home grown to make the food. The main theme followed by all those making Ayurvedic food is to use less oil and use more organic products which contain zero preservatives.

Ayurveda Cuisine
Ayurveda food usually consist of a combination of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals. Usually has a very less amount of oil. In instances that oil is used, the oil which is use is usually virgin coconut oil. The food consists of many vegetables and fruits. They will be fresh picked fruits and vegetables.

Serving Method
The food is served in clay pots. These clay pots are hand made by people who live in the village areas. They are decorated with different patterns which consist of different environment features as Ayurveda makes a connection between males and females.
